LICOR LI6800: Photosynthesis Theory and Practical Training at STROPI Part 1 of 5

Lesson: The Foundation of Plant’s Requirement for Growth and Development

Delivered on: 6 JULY 2023

Optimal plant growth and yield are achieved by fulfilling essential plant needs. These needs can be remembered with the mnemonic "allowing formula": air, light, water, nutrients, and growing medium. Temperature greatly influences plant development by affecting biochemical reaction rates. Humidity levels that are either too high or too low can induce stress. A balance between oxygen and carbon dioxide is vital for respiration and photosynthesis. When these fundamental requirements are met, plants can thrive and reach their full potential.

Formula "ALLOWING"

  1. Air

  2. Light

  3. Water

  4. Nutrient

  5. Growing Medium-Manner

ALWNG: It’s like ‘ALLOWING’

Allowing the plants to grow healthily. Allowing the plants to develop normally. Allowing you to gain more harvest and money
