KURSUS UNTUK RAKYAT : COURSES FOR PEOPLE
The LI-6800 utilizes several chemical columns to precisely control the environment within its leaf chamber. A CO2 cartridge provides a source of carbon dioxide for experiments requiring elevated CO2 levels. Soda lime acts as a CO2 scrubber, removing carbon dioxide from the airstream to achieve low CO2 concentrations. A desiccant column, filled with drierite, removes excess moisture, while a humidifier column, using Stuttgarter Masse, adds water vapour to maintain desired humidity levels. These columns work together to ensure accurate and stable conditions for measuring photosynthesis.
