Dual Fluorescence: Light Response Curve Data Analysis and Interpretation

Course Delivered: DUAL FLUORESCENCE-LRC

8 JUNE 2023

This video delves into the physiological effects of a foliar spray product on plant growth and photosynthesis. 🌿 We analyze data collected using the LI-6800 Portable Photosynthesis System to understand how the product influences key photosynthetic parameters and overall plant performance.

Analysis of a plant treatment's effects on various lettuce varieties revealed the importance of careful experimental design, including proper sampling methods and consideration of growing conditions. Physiological measurements like light response curves, chlorophyll fluorescence, and biomass were used to assess plant health and productivity. While the treatment showed some positive effects on certain varieties, there is room for improvement in its formulation and application. Understanding plant physiology and the interplay of various factors are crucial for optimising plant growth and response to treatments.
